I am shocked at the number of bad reviews for this product, so I wanted to share my 5 star experience with the WunderBrow eyebrow gel. I truly believe different products work or don’t work for different people. I also think a lot of the bad reviews are due to user error and if someone else, especially a makeup artist, were to apply it correctly on them they’d love the result.

I can confirm that as someone with very sparse eyebrows, this can be applied in less than 2 minutes and it can look great. My brows and eyelashes are very blonde and barely there, so I’ve used eyebrow pencils most of my adult life. But, I hated the smearing and running if I accidentally itched my forehead/eye. I also hated that my eyebrows would be gone after swimming or working out. This is the real deal, ladies. There is definitely a learning curve. It’s not a pencil. It’s a gel, like paint. The screw-off lid has a small paintbrush-like tool attached to it for application. I use this to apply the product to my eyebrows. It also comes with another brush, kind of like a mascara brush but with no mascara, which is used to “comb” through your brows once you’ve applied it to smooth everything over. The paintbrush attached to the lid doesn’t quite reach all the way to the bottom of the tube, which is unfortunate, so I use a long thin slanted-tip makeup brush to get the remainder of the product out once it is almost empty. The product is made of hair-like fibers and looks the most natural out of any brow product I’ve ever tried. You need some skill at applying, just like you do with eyeliner or mascara, but if done sparingly and if you build the color and shape as needed this is absolutely perfect. Now that I have the hang of it, it takes me maybe 2 minutes tops to do every morning. It’s the holy grail of eyebrow makeup, for sure! I’m a customer for life. My brows stay on after swimming and working out. I can walk in the rain and come inside and my eyebrows are still intact and not smeary or runny at all. I can itch my eyebrow and nothing changes or smudges. Even if I wash my face and don’t scrub hard at my eyebrows, I notice have a bit of color left there afterwards, as well (not as much as the initial application, but enough to not look like an eyebrow-less ghoul when walking around the house before bed). It looks totally natural, more so than any other eyebrow pencils or products I’ve used in the past. For reference, I am ash blonde with light blonde highlights, and was worried the blonde would be too light. It’s not. The blonde color even looks good on my sister who has dark brownish red hair. It’s absolutely perfect for a light complexioned blonde, strawberry blonde, or someone with a light complexion with any color hair. It matches my hair and coloring perfectly without being orange or yellowish like some “blonde” eyebrow pencils. The brunette color isn’t much darker. Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt and try it for yourself. Worst case scenario, you’re out $20 until you contact the company- once you do, they have a money back guarantee and great customer service. Here are the products, from lightest to darkest: Blonde, brunette, auburn (reddish), dark brown, and jet black.
